vybz kartel reunited with shorty

Since Vybz Kartel & Shorty separated from his decade-long girlfriend and mother of a fraction of his children's, we haven’t heard many emotionally inspired songs from the dancehall deejay. Who could forget when the “Don’trt Come Back” artiste released the breakup track that showcased a resentful Kartel disavowing the love of his life that he had put on a pedestal for so many years?     Vybz Kartel has now released a new track called “Then You and Me,” and its emotional perspective is something we haven’t heard from the deejay in a while. The slow, melancholic instrumental tugs at every heartstring and the heartfelt lyrics are painfully relatable. Kartel sounds inspired in this song where he talks about the toxic cycle of two people hurting each other in love, and heartbreak. Vybz Kartel birthday “Yuh guh out a yuh way fi hurt mi / An mi guh out a mi way fi hurt yuh / We keep going roun ina circle / No dis a cya love, dis a surgery,” Kartel sings. Though his ...

The Unruly Boss just dropped his new track ‘Lamp Shade’ for the ladies and in less than a day the view count is already at tens of thousands. The Unruly and Skyviews Entertainment production offers the usual cool and calm Popcaan with the flirtatious lyrics that women love. The ‘Money Heist Riddim’ is actually the host for two fire tracks by the dancehall deejay both released on the same day. It appears this instrumental won him over so much that he had to drop something for the ladies in addition to his money song. “Gyal mi love it when yu siddung pon di c**ky like di Benz seat yu ina / Cya tek yu man a b**ch need fi simmer / You a goodaz yu doh need dilemma / Whine up slow pon di ting pon di balcony / Tek it out push it in mek yu c*m for me / Baby mi ever need yu company / Drive yu crazy like di taxi dem a Half Way Tree” As usual Popcaan’s vocals are smooth and seductive on the beat and he effortlessly delivers flawless notes. The flow in this song definitely gives us “Bl...

Vybz Kartel may have reignited his beef with Alkaline in a single post on IG this weekend.

Dancehall’s number one hitter Vybz Kartel is a man of different moods and attitudes. He is always changing his flow and style and reinventing himself to give his fans something new, and did precisely that in his latest release “Super Hero Love,” where he effectively unlocks his ‘singing voice.’ One thing is sure, Vybz Kartel loves his fans, and his fans love him, and he always entertains them. In a post on his Instagram promoting the new song, the Worl’Boss took a swipe at his old foe, Alkaline.   The caption may just be the least interesting part of the post as the contents showed a small clip from the animated video for the song along with a few interesting comments from his loyal fans. The second slide of the post actually showcases the savage nature of the Gazanation and the teacher himself, for including it in his post. It reads, “8 ba**ywash man hate the tune already, dem reach early, but bad mind caan stop we #gaza #4eva!” If one takes a scroll through the comme...

An expert witness yesterday testified that two audio recordings of conversations said to be between the female foreman and Livingston Cain, the juror accused of attempting to bribe the jury in the 2014 trial of dancehall ty Vybz Kartel , were tampered with. Cain is facing five counts of attempting to pervert the course of justice and one count of conspiring to pervert the course of justice.recordings were taken from a BlackBerry mobile phone believed to have been used to record the conversations. An information technology professional with over 20 years’ experience told the court that he found clear evidence of splicing in the audio files. He also said that the stop time for the recording was too clean, suggesting that the audio had been edited. The expert was testifying yesterday in the trial for Cain at the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court in St Andrew. Using audiovisual equipment, he also noted that the clarity of the foreman’s voice, when compared to that of the accused, ...
